  1. There are many farm calls which we hear even in the Galtacht. If the bean an tighe wishes to call the hens she says "tuk, tuk, tuk". Or if she is calling the ducks she cries "feedy, feedy".
    Or again if she wants the calves to come to her, she cries "suc, suc".
    When she is calling the turkeys she cries "bidh bidh"
    If the fear an tíge wishes the cows to come up to him he cries "tweh tweh".
    If he wants to hunt the pigs he says "hurish, hurish".
    If the cailín aimsire wishes to call the geese she says "bady, bady"
