  1. Wakes
    1) When a person dies the people of the house cover the mirrow so as not to see the dead person in it.
    2) They turn down the chairs so as the dead person can not sit on them any more.
    3) They stop the clock
    4) Six candles are placed beside the dead and one is quenced to show that one person is gone out of the house
    5) Snuff and clay pipes and tobacco is distributed.
    6) The people keen over the dead.
    Funerals
    1) When the person is going to be buried the Funeral can not pass back the persons house.
    2) When they go into the Church-yard four people of the same name carry the coffin.
    3) The people carry the coffin tree times around the church-yard in honour of the Trinity.
    4) They put down seven slovels of earth on the coffin before they cover the grave.
