  1. The old people believed that if you had sore eyes to look through a marrage ring three times and they would be cured
    There is a well in our field and they say that if you rubbed the water of this well to your eyes they would be cured if they were sore.
    They old people also believed that if you picked a sty with a gooseberrie thorn it would be cured
    It is said if you bathe sore eyes in cold tea black it cures them.
    Some people say that a fasting-spit rubbed once every day for three days would cure sore eyes.
