  1. The only landlords that I knew of in the district was the late Mr Stoney and Lord Massey. There might have been others before my time. There was one eviction that of a dismissed labourer with a view to planting the landlord in question was of an old Irish type of farmer. Up to the present there is no land division. The evicted people has remained in the district with a view to reinstation.
