  1. There are many forts around this district. One is called Richardson's Fort, in Drominboy about 2 1/4 mls from Castleconnell Bourkes Fort in Woodroad.

    Blackhalls Fort was cut down in one field but grew in the opposite field.
    Frawleys Fort:
    A man was cutting timber in this fort and the saw cut through the hard wood as if it was butter and cut of his leg.
