  1. In Dark Island bog, a large fish with wings used to fly by night to the top of the hill of Nicker. After staying on the summit for two hours, he returned to the bog hole. It was known as the "Fish hole" and he never made a sound either coming or going.
A young colt used to frequent this road by night, and any one walking a long journey was enticed on his back and landed at his destination in a few minutes. He was called the "Fairy Coppal".
