  1. The houses which were there in days gone by were mostly thatched ones. In these houses there were only two rooms and a kitchen. If the family were large a bed used be in the kitchen. The bed was usually a four poster and it was always opposite the fire. The chimney was made of stones and mortar.
    The floors were generally paved with paving stones. Half doors are not common in this locality now-
