  1. A very old Irish custom is gathering eggs for Easter. About four days before Easter boys can be seen going around to all the farmer's houses looking for eggs. Each boy gets about two dozen eggs. When Easter Sunday morning comes every person eats more eggs than usual.
    Another custom is getting up before sun-rise on Easter Sunday morning to see the sun dancing inthe sky.
