    The largest flood that was ever in the Mulkear River occurred in the Summer of 1906. There was intense heat in the early part of the day but towards evening a cloud burst and caused a great flood.
    The children of Bilboa School were about to cross the Bilboa Bridge going homefrom school,when a woman ran after them to takethem into her house from the rain. They were only going in the door when they heard a crash like thunder. They
