  1. Norry Hickey's Cross in Foilmahonmore
    This was the scene Sunday after Sunday of a very famous Cross Road dance 70 or 80 years ago.
    People used come long distances on horse back to this famous dance.
    It is about 45 yrs. ago since I head a man - Mr Jas McCarthy (R.I.P) of Gurtavalla, telling how he rode a horse to the dance at Norry Hickey's Cross.
    Mr. J. McCarthy died about 3yrs ago. He was then aged about 92 or 93 yrs.
