It was from a man named John Ryan. I heard the following story:- He said that one night about twelve o' clock he was coming home from Hospital in a trap-car and as he neared the cross of Ballyvistea, he looked back and saw a coffin which appeared to be floating about two feet overhead the ground. The horse which was under the trap-car covered all over with sweat and the cushions leaped out of the car and pitched inside the ditch. The man drove on home and went to bed and needless to say he didn't get up again for some time afterwards.
