    I heard the following story from an old man in the neighbourhood. There is certain man in this district and when he was young, a man named Tom Hennessy took him to a fair in Tipperary.

    I heard the following story from an old man in the neighbourhood.
    There is certain man in this district and when he was young, a man named Tom Hennessy took him to a fair in Tipperary. 'Twas about five o'clock in the morning when they started out. As they were passing Hanley's moat in Scrag Tom Hennessy blessed himself and said a prayer. When the young man saw him he said "Why did you bless yourself ?" "Ah" says Tom "my two uncles are in that moat". "How do you know that ?" says the young fellow. "I'll tell you now" says the man.
    "About forty years ago my grandfather was carrying a load of pigs to Limerick. He was living inside Hanley's and as there was no passage in there his two sons had to come
