    It was from a man called Patrick Hanley I heard this story.
    Once a man and his wife were milking cows for a rich gentleman. One evening as they were returning home they saw a little man crying on the roadside. They stopped the horse which they were driving and said to him "Why are you crying?" The little man replied "Oh no wonder I am because I will have to die tomorrow" "How do you know that?" asked the milkers. "Oh" says the little man "do you see that house there", "We do" said the milkers "Well" says the little man "When you will be coming along this way to-morrow evening you will see a cow choking in the yard but it will not be a real cow but me". At that the milkers went away and when they were coming along that way the evening after they saw the cow and she
