eastern section of the well cannot be boiled no matter how long you try to boil it.

One day a girl who was a stranger in the district filled a pot of water from the first or eastern section of the well and took it home and placed the pot over the fire.
When it was over the fire for a couple of hours she found it was as cold as when she brought it into the house
She went immediately to her master and he told her to throw away the water without delay and never again bring water from that part of the well.
She obeyed her master and never afterwards brought water from that part of the well.
