This is a true story about a man who lived in Kiltankin (in a settle bed). One night her was sleeping n a settle bed in the kitchen. There was a hole in the settle. One night he looked out through the hole with one eye and he saw another eye looking in at him. He jumped out of the settle and said that if there were as many more eyes looking at him he was not afraid.
There was no one to be seen in the kitchen when he jumped out.
