Long ago there was a church in Teampall-Mologa which is about four miles north west of Kilbehenny.
One night three men made up a plan that they would go into the church and steal the chalice. On their return journey they were in stooping positions so as not to be seen when they were changed into stones.
The three stones are still to be seen and it is said that a pig is seen every night at 12 OC in the same place.
