  1. If you see a wood-louse creeping on the wall, it is the sign of rain.
    If there is a halo round the moon the weather is going to be broken.
    If a number of "Hairy-Molls" (a kind of caterpillar) are seen crossing the road the weather is going to be bad.
    There are two mountains near us, Black-Rock and See-Finn and when a cloud covers them the weather is going to be bad and when it is moving off again the weather is improving.
