  1. Around this district, there are a number of games played by the children, and one of them is "Queenie".
To have this game played properly, five or six children are needed. They generally play this game on a fence.
The eldest of the group, stands on the fence, and turns her back to the group. She must have a ball in her hand.
Then she throws the ball over her shoulder to the children.
If one of them catches the ball before it touches the ground,
she can take the place from the other girl and be "Queenie".
Then she throws the ball over her shoulder, like the girl who was "Queenie". Then if the ball touched the ground before any of them could catch it, they must all make a run to get the ball and the first one to get it should hold it in her hands behind her back.
They all must do the same because if they did not "Queenie" would know easily who had the ball.
