  1. There is a Holy well in Glenanaar and there is supposed to be a cure for chin-sough in the water.
    One day a woman was passing with her children, and she washed one of the children who had a disease in the well and the well ran dry.
    There was a woman living near the well and when it went dry she was in need of water as there was no other well near the house.
    She got a bottle of Holy Water and sprinkled it over the well and saw angels coming down towards the well and the water came in the well again.
    This well was in another man's field called Sam Steep who was descended from the (palatine's) but it sprang up in another place and is there still.
