  1. Once upon a time there was a boy working at a certain man's house and this man was a drunkard.
One night he came in late after being in a public house and was very drunk.
He ordered the servant boy to go for a bottle of whiskey and the servant did not like going because he meant to go to his own home that night.
The drunken man made him go for the whiskey and it was dark when he came back. It was very late also and the poor fellow was afraid to go home for fear he might meet a ghost on the way.
The housekeeper made tea and after the tea she gave two glasses of whiskey to the boy to encourage him to go home. After a short time the boy started on his journey home.
