  1. This incident happened in the Co. Cork. There was a family living in a certain house.
One of the boys who was living in the house was accustomed to come late every night.
There was an avenue leading to the house and at each side of the avenue was a high wall.
One night as the boy was going in the avenue he saw a black dog standing on the wall.
As the boy walked on the dog also walked on the wall keeping in line with him.
The boy was not a bit frightened and he did not tell anybody. On the second night as the boy was going home the same thing happened but he did not take much notice of it. On the third night the boy saw the dog again and this time he was very frightened but his sister was up late ironing clothes otherwise the boy would have died of fright.
