  1. On the south side of the graveyard & at about 50 yards distant there is still pointed out markers (a few stones placed together at each place.) which are supposed to mark the length of three jumps (long or broad jump) given by three brothers named Fitzgibbon. The jumps were down hill from a small raised ditch with a poor 'run in'. A stone in the ditch marks the take off.
    The measurements are -
    1st. 27 feet.
    2nd. 30 ,,
    3rd. 33 ,,
    The relations of these athletes live at Ballymac, Ahane Bog. & at (Graun) Gurrane. Railuirc Co Corcaigh. (an seolad).
