  1. Clonshire House.
    Clonshire House is situated about a mile to the south of Shountrade N. School, in the parish of Adare. The Master of Co. Limerick Foxhounds lives there.
    About thirty five years ago, when they were repairing the house, an old flint gun was found. It is now in the possession of Cornelious Normoyle of Rour, Adare. In the house lives the master of Co. Limerick fox hounds. A large number of hounds have been kept there for many years.
    The gun is said to have belonged to Colonel Dickson. He was a man who fought with the English regiment against Napoleon, in the battle of Waterloo. He was
