  1. My School district Shountrade.
    Over a hundred years ago there was a small school in Bosheen, in the townland of Shountrade, about three miles north west of Adare village. The school was called Shountrade school. There was an old street there long ago.
    About seventy years ago, the then teacher Mr. Shanahan had to close the school as the number of children had decreased. He opened a new school in Tuogh. He brought with him the notice board and placed it over the door. Since then it has been called
