  1. It is said that the left side of the graveyard is not consecrated. All non-catholics are buried there in that side.
    Many years ago a man by the name of Tom Kain was buried in Castletown graveyard. A blade of grass never grew in this grave since.
    It is said that when the "whiteboys" died in this locality they were buried in the Russel's land now owned by my father. The tombstones can still be seen but the inscriptions cannot be seen.
