  1. There was an old school in the parish of Cappagh. It was a protestant one. The people of the parish called it the blue school in order to distinguish it from the other school.
    It was turned into a dwelling house about thirty years ago. There is a family living in it now. They are a protestant family. It is on the side of the road leading to Rathkeale. It is a very high old house.

  2. There was an old school in Church St. Askeaton, Co. Limerick long ago.
    It was built of stones and red earth. It was built about 200 years ago. There were 50 or 60 pupils attending it regularly.
