  1. About twenty years ago, five porpoises came up the Deel to Gort, Askeaton. They were about six feet in height and about a foot and a half in breadth. They had a black colour.
    One night a man was out very late. As he was passing a fort, a grey horse came out and a woman riding him. When the horse was crossing a stream, the man caught his tail and pulled it off. the man had no luck after that.
