  2. Adjacent to Kilmeedy village is the local graveyard. In the centre is situated the remains of an old Abbey constructed many hundreds of years ago. Many people are still buried in this Abbey. There is also a tomb in the Abbey where an old Protestant named Massy is buried. It would not be allowed to be buried in his native place as he was a bad man so he was brought to
