  1. A gauy cow used to give milk to everyone during the famine times. If they kept milking her for ever she would still have milk. One day a woman was milking her when a little witch came into the yard and said "I bet you I can milk that cow dry." The other woman said that she would not. The little witch took a sieve and milked the cow dry. When the cow was milked she disappeared and was never seen again.
