    western part of Ballingarry. He was very considerate to his tenants. Mr. Atkinson was a very severe landlord. He evicted several people out of their homes and the neighbours had to build huts in the roadsides for them. All these landlords were Protestants. They got the land by hunting the people out of it, and taking it for themselves. Tights were always collected by the Landlords representettives for the Landlord. These tights were collected in money. People always hated the Landlords.
