  1. A great many poor people visit our district in quest of alms from time to time. Some of those who call are familiar in the district for years. Some of those travel on foot, while others come in cars. A great number of them ask for food. Others look for cast - off clothes and boots. Very often they come selling their wares. Sometimes it so happens that people find among their wares suitable articles for house - hold purposes.
