  1. There was a man who lived in Ballyalnan Co, Limerick. He was a great mower. He used to cut an acre of hay in a day with the scythe. His name was Dan Sullivan.
    There was another great mower in Caherhennessy. His name was Michael Greene. He used to mow one acre of hay in the day. There were five or six other men working with him one day and he outdid them all.
    Dick Roche and David Roche were great mowers also. They used to
