  1. John, Mounty and Leonard Micks, Lisamote, Ballingarry were famous strong men. They are all dead. John Micks is dead for the past two years. Mounty Micks is dead for the past fourteen years. Leonard Micks is dead for the past nine or ten years. Leonard Micks could put over a ton weight of a rolling stone on its edge.
    John Hannon who lived about 1/2 mile from Ballingarry was a very strong man. It is said that he carried a ton weight up Mullan's hill. This place is now
