    May health and grace be ever thine.

    The following poems on "Mother" were written by Denis B Regan of Sparr Street Ballingarry who died in America March 1st 1935.
    Mother
    May health and Grace be ever thine
    O! mother, wonderous, and sublime
    Thank God, your loving memory.
    Has solace always brought to me,
    Every thought and act of mine,
    Reposes in thee mother mine.
    Mother
    The sweetest being, upon this Earth
    Is she who gave us life, and birth.
    Along all dear names there's not another
    So quite euphonious as "Mother."
    If she's alive, then we are blest,
    To watch her smile or be caressed.
    But if alas this Vale of tears
    She left for brighter, happier shperes,
    We know she's watching from above,
    Our very act, with eyes of love.
    So it is meet, that we to day,
    Should lift our thoughts to her and pray
    That when we leave this transient place
