  1. There lived in Limerick once a woman who was a hunchback. When she died she had to be strapped to the bed. On the night of her death there was a wake. Before the wake two clever boys stole in the window and hid under her bed. There were two women praying over her bed. The clever boys cut the straps and the hunchback bobbed up against one of the women and knocked her in a faint on the floor. The other woman fell down the stairs with the fright.
