  1. Ferrits' leavings. is a cure for whooping Cough. another cure is:- Ask a man driving a white horse what would cure the Whooping Cough. Whatever he says is said to cure it.
    For Yellow Jaundice:- Get a worm with nine joints, and nine bottles of porter.
    Put a join into each bottle, and bury them. Dig up one bottle each morning and drink the porter and joint of the worm, fasting when the nine bottles have been drunk the person will be cured.
    Wild rhubarb boiled is a cure for pains in the bones.
    There is a cure for Ringworm, in the Silver fern or Cow's Tongue
    A Dock leaf applied to the part which has been burnt by a nettle eases the pain.
    Soap or Sour milk also eases pain.
    Slaúlas. stops bleeding.
    A frog put into the mouth cures tooth-ache.
    Blue applied to the part stung by a wasp or honey bee extracts the poison and reduces the swelling.
    Warts are taken away by bathing them in the water which lodges in a
