  1. It is said that the Fianna passed near this place. About fifty years ago a man was ploughing above in Lynche's farm. He saw a ring of burned stones and he saw the place where the Fianna used to eat.
    "Leabhaidh Diarmuide". In Kileedy there is a rock called that name. It is said that Diarmuid used to sleep on that rock. One day a giant came to fight him. After a long fight the giant ran and Diarmuid bent down to a fist of gold at the giant and it landed back where Knockferna now is.
