  1. Pitch and Toss is played by placing a small square stone which is called a mutt on the ground and then standing four or five yards back, any number of people can play in this game. Each person must at least have two pence and then they start to pitch. The person whose penny is first to the mutt will get a penny from each of the players. Then he will toss them and every one that will turn head he can keep them. Then those that will turn harp the player that comes second will toss them and so on.
