  1. The best known tinker's in this locality are:- Sheridans, Quilligans, and Gamills. The Quillgans and Sheridans were going in one band for a while. They fought and Sheridan got a sear over the eye. A woman of the Quilligans came up and said to him:- "Never a bright day shone since we joined you syad-eye"
