  1. There was a priest hunter in County Limerick in the penal days. His son was away training to be a priest. When he was ordained he was to come home. His father heard that a priest was to pass the way, so he told the English and they went in ambush. When the priest was passing they rushed at him and shot him. When the father saw that it was his son he gave up the priest hunting.
