  1. On Christmas Night it is said that all the water changes into wine. One girl would not believe it, and she sat near St. Benjamins well in Tullylease. When twelve-o-clock came she dipped her finger into the well, to taste the water, and her finger stayed inside. That is why the place around there is called Poul-a-Vere, the hole of the finger
