  1. Not very far from our land is a well. There is a legend attached to it. It is said that a poor blind man lived far away from it. One night he had a dream. He thought he saw a well by the side of the road, and if he came to it and washed his eyes he would get back his sight.
    He arose immediately and went to the well and washed his eyes and he got back his sight. Ever since it is called Tobairín na Duine Bhocht. It is now a blessed well and people go to pay rounds there in May.
