  1. About sixty years ago the parish priest of Abbeyfeale was blessing May eve water. There was a crowd waiting for the holy water to be blessed. One of the women of the crowd wanted to have the first of the holy water. She stuck her handerchief into it. He saw what she was doing. he snapped the handerchief from her and afterwards burned it and buried the ashes of it. She wated to carry the good of the holy water the way she could work piseogs.
