  1. Long ago there lived a priest in Abbeyfeale called Father Fintan. One day he had to go on a sick call to an old woman in the town-land of Cragg. On his return he said that he would go this road home. When he was near Hannie Connells bohereen he felt very hungry and weak, and he had to up to her house to eat. When he had ate, Hannie asked him what had happened to him, and he said, "that he trampled on hungry grass.
