  1. A man and a plant.
    There was a man there long ago who was very poor. One day he brought a plant to his mothers house. She asked him why did he bring it. He said it would be useful for he could plant it to-morrow and t woudl become a big tree. HIs mother threw it out she said it was no good. In the morning when he awoke it had grown up to the sky. He said he should climb it and so he started. When he reached the top he went into a big house where a giant and his wife lived. The giant was not inside at the time, so his wife told the man to go into this big pot. After a few mintue the giant returned, when he was coming n the door he said, buff, buff, I hear the smell of an Irish fuggor. Where is he or where not I don't know. His wife said it was a goose she had roasted for his dinner. When he had eaten it
