  1. About fifty years ago there was a man by the name of "Foxy Cotter" better known as the "Coitireach Ruad." He had no certain house to live in but he used to be going around from house to house every day with a grey pony, and if he didnt like the house he stayed in he might leafe a swarm of rats in the house. Whenever he would be in a house where young boys were they would be always 'playing' in him and when he would tell them to give hay to the pony they might only give him rushes. He was born in Dingle in the Co Kerry and was buried there also but he died in the home in New-Castle Co Limerick.
