  1. There was a hedge - school at Tullig Oline in the parish of Templeglantine, in the county of Limerick about sixty years ago between Patrick Flynn's and William Collin's.
    The teachers name was Terry Collins.
    He was better known as "Leather - head". He was also a stranger. He was a very good master and he lived in the school. He was paid by the scholars quarterly. The fee was one shilling
