- Once upon a time there lived a married man who had a son. His first wife died and he married again. When the boy grew up his stepmother was very harsh with him. She used not give him enough food. One day his father was going to a fair and told his son to go to another farm and do some work.
When morning came he got up and said to his stepmother that he had to go to the other farm. He asked for his breakfast and when he had it eaten he asked for his dinner and then he asked for his tea so that he would not have to carry them with him.(continues on next page)- Collector
