    cut the thatch round the eaves of the house, and a thatching rack with iron teeth to clean off the loose ribs of the house.
    He puts up about the width of the ladder at the time, and that is called a strip. He should have a man with him to tend him, giving him up the thatch and the stakes in small bundles. he should have pitchfork above on the house to hold up the bundle of thatch. The man that does this work is called a thatcher.
