  1. The strange animal is to be seen in the district is the otter. He lives in Dunganville River. He was seen by Pat Woulfe of Dunganville, and Pat tried to catch him with dogs, but he failed.
    One night as men were going to a fair in Ruthkeale, and as they were passing Jimmy Woulfe's fort they saw two men, without heads on a cart drawn by a headless horse. They called it the Headless Coach. It is said that when a person meets it, it would be the cause of his death, but those people met with no such fate.
